Eugenia, 13 years old

The famous Peggy's Cove Lighhouse, Nova Scotia, Canada. A plain fleece dress with six "sides". Wooden sticks are inserted into bollom seams to shape the dress as a hexagon. Windows are made from duct tape. The hat is made from cardboard, a round plastic lid from a box of CD disks, and cocktail straws attached by red duct tape. The top is made from a red plastic dish attached by duct tape so that the lid could be opened. At night, a bycicle flashing light was placed inside the lid so our lighthouse worked for real! The costume got the first place award in Eugenia's middle school.
